An investigation is underway by the Montgomery police regarding a shooting that resulted in the death of a 16-year-old boy.
Authorities were alerted to a distressing incident on Sunday evening at approximately 9:49 PM in the 1000 block of Eastern Boulevard, situated between the intersections of Atlanta Highway and Interstate 85. Responding to the call, police and fire medics discovered a teenager who had tragically suffered a fatal gunshot wound.
According to authorities, they were able to find an individual who had sustained a gunshot wound that was not deemed life-threatening. The injured man was subsequently transported to a medical facility for proper medical attention.
According to authorities, the location of the shooting has been identified as the 100 block of Eastdale Road South.
