Weekly Safety Report: Homicide and shooting investigations in Montgomery, Alabama

In Montgomery, Alabama, multiple shooting incidents occurred this week. One incident resulted in the injury of a woman on Mobile Highway, but thankfully, her injuries were not life-threatening. Another unfortunate shooting that happened back in August claimed the life of a 21-year-old man. The police are currently investigating the circumstances of his death. Moreover, the authorities are looking for information regarding a homicide that occurred in September of this year. Finally, a murder-for-hire trial is underway, and a jury has been selected. The two brothers on trial are accused of killing one of the brother’s wives in 2017.

In the 4300 block of Mobile Highway near West Boulevard, a woman was shot and subsequently rushed to the hospital for medical care due to a gunshot wound. Fortunately, her injuries are not expected to be life-threatening.

Jury selected in Enterprise murder-for-hire trial
