Fifth Homicide This Month Claims Life of Paterson Resident in Shooting Incident

Last year, there were a total of 22 individuals at this exact point.

As of now, there has been no update regarding any apprehensions, potential suspects, or presumed cause behind the shooting that occurred at 1:16 a.m. on October 12th in the 4th Ward vicinity of Summer Street and Hamilton Avenue.

The victim’s identity remains undisclosed, and neither Passaic County Prosecutor Camelia M. Valdes nor Paterson Police Department Officer-In-Charge Isa Abbassi have provided any explanation for this decision.

According to sources, the investigation is still ongoing.

According to reports, the neighborhood has been experiencing a resurgence of open-air drug markets recently, following a two-year hiatus that was attributed to construction in the area.
