Stacy’s passing has left a void in the lives of those who loved her, and the world will never be quite the same without her. Even so, McKenna knows her mother will continue to watch over her, her father, Sydney, and Mason. Stacy’s fighting spirit was a true inspiration, and she passed it on to many others, including her son, Mason. Though the heart is heavy, McKenna takes comfort in the fact that her mother no longer has to suffer and can finally rest. Expressing solidarity and empathy, Eric Ritzert, the superintendent of the Karns City School District, conveyed his support to the Martins and spoke on behalf of the entire community.
Ritzert conveyed the heartfelt condolences of the entire Karns City Area community to the Martin and King families. He acknowledged Stacy’s valiant fight against her illness and admired her for the strength and courage she displayed throughout. Her unwavering support for others will always be remembered and cherished. Ritzert requested everyone to keep the family in their prayers during this difficult time.
According to Mason Martin’s father, his son underwent a cranial flap removal due to his injury. The medical team is currently working on reattaching the flap; however, they are waiting for ideal conditions before proceeding with the procedure.
