Danelo Cavalcante, an escaped Chester County prisoner, shaves his beard and is discovered driving a stolen vehicle

Authorities are currently starting a large-scale search for Danelo Cavalcante, an escapee. Cavalcante was last seen in Phoenixville, Pennsylvania, after escaping from Chester County Prison, which is about an hour distant from Philadelphia.

Cavalcante’s appearance has changed noticeably, with him discarding his beard for a smoother face. He was first seen driving a stolen dairy van, which he subsequently abandoned near Chester County due to a shortage of fuel and was eventually discovered by authorities.

Reports say that he was wearing a green sweatshirt with a hood and that he might be trying to steal another car. Pennsylvania officials have encouraged the public to remain vigilant and careful as the manhunt continues. Cavalcante is seen as a high threat.
