Delaware Teens Caught for Theft of Porsche in Northfield Home Invasion Robbery

According to police, the six individuals involved in the car theft incident fled to Delaware in a stolen Porsche after being involved in a head-on collision with another stolen vehicle around 8:45 a.m. on September 16th. The incident took place at the intersection of Shore Road and Mimi Court in Northfield.

According to the authorities, all six individuals abandoned the initial stolen vehicle and fled on foot toward Wabash Avenue after the crash occurred.

According to the authorities, the individual who was driving the other car that was involved in the collision is currently being treated in the hospital for severe injuries.

According to police, Sergeant Justin Heller from Northfield was on the scene at Wabash Avenue when he spotted a Porsche that had been stolen during a home invasion leaving the area. In an attempt to stop the suspects, a motor vehicle pursuit was initiated, but it was called off due to the reckless and hazardous driving of the perpetrators.

After an intense search, the Porsche was finally located at an apartment complex in Wilmington, Delaware. Thankfully, the Delaware State Police were able to apprehend two suspects who were juveniles aged 16.

In New Jersey, the young residents of Delaware faced charges for a range of offenses related to their involvement in a motor vehicle crash and a home invasion. These charges included multiple counts of conspiracy, robbery, burglary with attempted bodily injury using a handgun, theft of a motor vehicle, assault by auto, aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, leaving the scene of an accident with serious bodily injury, and weapons offenses.

According to the authorities, the extradition process has already been set in motion. As per reports, the firearm in question has not been found yet.

According to a statement released by the Northfield police on Tuesday, September 19th, they are currently working alongside the Delaware State Police to identify the remaining four juveniles involved in the incident.
