According to California sheriff’s officials, a 61-year-old man managed to defend himself against an assailant by using the attacker’s own knife against him. The man had retrieved the knife from his back during the altercation.
According to a news release by the Napa County Sheriff’s Office, a homeowner was quick to react when he spotted a stranger on his property. He bravely went out to confront the intruder on Saturday, September 16th.
According to the sheriff’s officials, the homeowner was stabbed in the back by an unknown intruder.
According to the publication, Andrew Kenneth Dixon, a 33-year-old resident of Long Beach, was taken into custody by deputies on multiple charges, including attempted murder, assault with a deadly weapon, and elder abuse.
Fortunately, both men received medical attention for their injuries, which were deemed to be non-life-threatening.
