A shooting at an Indianapolis shopping complex claims 1 life and injures 2

On Sunday, a shooting incident occurred on the northwest side of the city that resulted in the death of one man and left two others injured.

At approximately 3 a.m., an emergency call was made to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police regarding a reported shooting incident at a shopping complex situated near West 38th Street and 3925 N. High School Road. The police immediately responded to the call.

Upon arrival, the officers found two men who had been shot and were in critical condition. Tragically, one of the men passed away shortly after being transported to the hospital. The incident is currently under investigation, and authorities are working to gather more information about what led to the shooting.

After receiving the initial call, IMPD reported that they received another call at around 3:30 a.m. regarding a man who was shot at 7190 Rockville Road, located in the Chapel Hill neighborhood off North Girls School Road.

Upon further investigation, it was discovered by IMPD that the individual in question had been shot in the 3900 block of North High School Road.

The individual was taken to the hospital with significant injuries.
