A man Out on bond for murder was caught for a robbery in Texas City

In Texas City, a man who had previously been released on bond for a murder charge was apprehended on September 1st for a robbery, as reported by the Texas City Police Department.

On August 27 at approximately 3:20 a.m., a robbery occurred at a gas station located in the 1800 block of 25th Avenue North. The local police department responded to the incident and filed a report.

According to authorities, the individual responsible for the robbery has been identified as Dayton Andre Booker, aged 23. An arrest warrant has been issued for Booker, who was already out on bond for a murder charge from May 2021. He was not granted a bond for the robbery offence.

Booker was apprehended by the authorities with the assistance of the United States Marshals Galveston County Violent Offender Task Force and was subsequently arrested. The individual was taken into custody on September 1st at approximately 10:30 a.m. from an apartment located in the 3400 block of 9th Avenue North.

After being arrested, he was initially placed in the Texas City Jail before being transferred to the Galveston County Jail for further processing.
