5 people were injured in a home explosion that left the house “heavily damaged”

As per the authorities, a devastating blast shook a residential area in West Milford, New Jersey on Friday, injuring six individuals and causing significant damage to the house. The incident left the property in shambles, and the victims were rushed to the hospital for medical attention.

According to authorities, an explosion occurred at approximately 9 p.m. in Upper Greenwood Lake, as multiple reports were received by West Milford Police regarding a house explosion.

Out of the six individuals who were injured, five of them were taken to medical centers for treatment. The sixth person declined any further medical attention.

The injured victims were immediately transported to various medical centers for treatment. One of them was taken to Cooperman Barnabas Medical Center, while two were flown to Morristown Medical Center. Another victim was taken to St Joseph’s Medical Center Paterson, and the last one was transported to Hackensack University Medical Center. It’s essential to provide prompt medical attention to those who need it, and the quick response of the medical teams helped ensure that these victims received the necessary care.

The reason for the explosion is currently being investigated by fire marshals and detectives from West Milford.
