Adrianna Conville, a 20-year-old resident of Montgomery, had a big heart and free spirit, according to her beloved sisters Kianna Sheppard and Aisha Davis.
According to them, she faced mental health and substance abuse challenges.
Davis said, “She was a genuinely kind person. If someone is struggling with mental health or substance abuse, I urge them to seek help and for those around them to not give up because losing someone hurts deeply.”
Brendan Thomas, 25, has been arrested by the police for allegedly shooting Conville and another man. He has been charged with murder and attempted murder.
According to Sheppard, Conville was a caring and social person. Despite going through tough times, she would welcome those without a place to stay into her home.
She was an active young woman with her own dreams and ambitions, as remembered by her sisters. She enjoyed outdoor activities like swimming and had a desire to travel, mentioning the Bahamas. Additionally, she had an appreciation for music and often listened to Billie Eilish and Rod Wave.
She played basketball and cheered at Selma High School. Since childhood, Conville had dreamed of being a cheerleader, watching all the “Bring It On” movies.
Sheppard stated that regardless of what it was, she wanted to be involved in some way.
Davis said she had a passion for dogs and aspired to open a shelter and become a veterinarian. She owned two dogs, Bella and Pablo.
Davis said Conville had a tendency to be stubborn and resent authority figures, but she was actively working on improving herself.
Davis said, “I loved her very much.”
