Mississippi authorities have successfully apprehended two fugitives who were wanted for murder in Alabama.
According to a report by WLOX News in Biloxi, two individuals, Devanta Hall, 22, and a 17-year-old male, were apprehended in Moss Point by agents from the U.S. Marshals’ Gulf Coast Regional Fugitive Task Force (GCRFTF).
The Mobile Police Department is currently searching for both suspects involved in two distinct and unrelated murder cases.
On June 18, a tragic incident took place at a Pride gas station on St. Stephens Road in Mobile. As a result, Hall has been charged with murder and two counts of shooting into an occupied vehicle. The authorities are actively pursuing him in connection with the incident.
Authorities are currently searching for a teenager who is suspected of committing a murder at the Spanish Oak Inn in Theodore on June 20th. The suspect is considered to be armed and dangerous, and law enforcement officials are urging the public to come forward with any information related to the case.
Hall was apprehended in the vicinity of Larimore Street’s 4900 block and taken into custody.
Authorities apprehended the teenager in the vicinity of Dubose Avenue’s 3400 block and took them into custody.
According to the U.S. Marshals Service, two murder suspects were recently apprehended in Moss Point thanks to a joint investigation with the Mobile Police Department. The MPD played a pivotal role in the operation by providing vital information that helped to identify the suspects’ whereabouts. The arrests were successfully carried out by the U.S. Marshals and MPD working collaboratively.
The Gulfport, Mobile, and Hattiesburg offices of GCRFTF, along with the Jackson County Sheriff’s Office, Mobile Police Department, and Moss Point Police Department, collaborated to make the arrests possible.
