Two Alabama men have been charged with robbing a mail carrier in Fort Walton Beach

FORT WALTON BEACH, Fla. — Two guys from Alabama are accused of robbing a US Postal Service mail carrier in Fort Walton Beach while carrying a gun.

In Montgomery, Keondre Daniels and Marquan Johnson were both taken into custody.

Police in Fort Walton Beach said Daniels pointed a gun at a woman on Bobolink Drive NE and took her mailbox keys.

Fort Walton Beach police say that Daniels and Johnson were found in Montgomery about two hours after the suspected theft on Friday.

Daniels is accused of stealing with a gun. Johnson is being charged with being a part of a robbery with a gun. Both guys are in the Montgomery County Jail while they wait to be sent to Fort Walton Beach.
