Officers say, armed 8-year-old stole a car in Alabama and led police on a pursuit

Police say that an armed 8-year-old from Alabama stole a car and ran away from them. He led them on a chase and wouldn’t stop until he crashed the car.

After the incident, police in Montgomery stated that the boy had been arrested and turned over to juvenile authorities.

He was last being kept at the Montgomery County Youth Detention Facility.

Just after 11 a.m. on Tuesday, police were called to a report of a robbery.

As they looked into it, they found the boy driving the stolen car. They tried to stop him, but he wouldn’t let them.

He tried to get away from the cops until he hit another car at the intersection of South Court Street and West Fairview Avenue.

Police say that no one suffered injuries in the accident.
