Motorcycle crash results in the death of a man from Gadsden

ETOWAH COUNTY, Ala. ( MBS ) — A motorcycle crash that occurred on Friday afternoon in Etowah County, Alabama, claimed the life of a 61-year-old man from Gadsden.

Michael A. Ridens met with a tragic accident as his motorcycle veered off the road and collided with a guardrail and a tree, as reported by the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency. Regrettably, Ridens sustained fatal injuries and was pronounced dead at the location of the accident.

Around 2:11 p.m., the ALEA’s Highway Patrol Division is investigating a crash that happened on U.S. 278, approximately seven miles west of Attalla.
