A group of six men in Alabama just captured a massive alligator.
According to the Alabama Wildlife and Freshwater Fisheries Division, the gator weighed 524 pounds and stood 12 feet, 9 inches tall.
The Douglas party, according to officials, captured the gator.
It was such a massive gator that it had to be lifted up in order for the men to take a picture holding it.
According to Americanoceans.org, the largest ever gator captured was done in 2014, also in Alabama.
That gator was 15 feet and 9 inches long and weighed over 1,000 pounds.
