DOTHAN, Ala – The deadline for applying to the Housing Choice Voucher Program (Section 8 Housing) offered by the Dothan Housing Authorities is fast approaching.
If you’re interested, be sure to submit your application by Wednesday, August 9th.
Do note that only online applications are being accepted for the Project-Based Voucher waitlists for apartments at the following locations: Henry Green, Jamison Village (formerly McRae Homes), Howell Senior Building, Kinsey Cove (formerly Johnson Homes), and Crimson Ridge (formerly Martin Homes).
Your application will be evaluated based on your preference, date of submission, and time of your application. Please keep in mind that paper applications will not be accepted, and fax requests will be disregarded.
If you don’t have access to a computer, you can visit the Our Community Housing and Enrichment Center at 1001 Montana Street and use their computer lab.
Once you’ve submitted your application, it’s recommended that you print out the confirmation page or save a copy of your confirmation email for your records.
