In Alabama, there are currently over 900 Dollar General stores, as reported by Scrape Hero. On September 12, 2023, a man from Alabama robbed one of these stores. However, he did not steal money during the robbery. This incident was reported by WSFA.
A 41-year-old man named Ronrico Jovan Scott was arrested for two counts of first-degree robbery. According to reports, Scott stole various types of candy and Corona beer during the robbery.
According to WSFA’s report, more information was provided about the incident, which stated that a man was accused of stealing beer and candy during a robbery at a Montgomery Dollar General store.
The criminal complaint states he pushed past two employees while leaving while “threatening to cause physical harm while reaching into his pocket for what they described as a pistol.”
As of September 15, 2023, he remains in County Jail with a bond of $60,000 for each charge.
