The Commission said they are giving licenses to 24 enterprises, including seven cultivators, which is three more than in June. Nineteen of the 24 cards were among the first ones given out in June.
Commission Chair Rex Vaughn is hoping that dispensaries could be open by the end of the year. He said, “I think it’s still possible we can get there, but that also depends on litigation that we may have in front of us, and we can’t predict that.” But now we have the go-ahead to move forward, and we’re very grateful to be here and to have had today to recover.
Vaughn said, “That’s more or less what we’ve done today, is regrouped from where we were two months ago.”
