Thompson said that the second person who was shot was hit 3 times and is now fighting for his life in the hospital. He said that the pregnant woman who was taken to the hospital had been shot in the stomach. We don’t know anything about her or her baby’s health.
Thompson and other witnesses told News4JAX that the angry ex-boyfriend of the pregnant woman shot through the window after he left the house.
Thompson said that no one in the house thought there would be gunfire.
“We were just standing here talking, and all of a sudden, five shots rang through the kitchen window,”he said. “The first one hit me. The second one and the third one hit his girlfriend and Charles. This whole place was full of blood.”
The doctors told Thompson that he was lucky to still be alive.
So far, there is no news about whether or not the shooter was caught by the cops.
