A Man Climbs Through Brooklyn Fire Escape Windows, Stealing Over $320K in Jewelry and Other Property in a String of Robberies

The NYPD has recently made public a photo of a man who allegedly climbed through fire escape windows in Brooklyn and committed a series of robberies in September and October. The total value of the stolen jewelry and property is estimated to be over $320,000.

According to officials, the suspect entered an apartment in the Crown Heights area through a fire escape window at around 8 a.m. on Friday, Oct. 6. The incident occurred near Brooklyn Avenue and Lefferts Avenue.

According to authorities, the suspect managed to get away with roughly $300,000 worth of jewelry after entering the premises. The thief then made a quick escape on foot, and his whereabouts are currently unknown.

At around 12:24 a.m. on Sunday, September 10, a perpetrator gained entry into an apartment in the Crown Heights area, located near Brooklyn Avenue and Lefferts Avenue, by using a fire escape window.

After gaining entry, the perpetrator made off with about $2,000 worth of jewelry and other valuables before fleeing on foot to an unknown location.

On Saturday, September 23, at around 11:08 a.m., the perpetrator gained entry into an apartment near Empire Boulevard and Albany Avenue in Crown Heights by using a fire escape window.

After taking away jewelry and other valuables worth around $15,000, the suspect quickly fled on foot to an unknown location.

On a Sunday afternoon, around 1 p.m. on October 1st, he gained entry into an apartment located near Fenimore Street and Rogers Avenue in Prospect Lefferts Garden by using a fire escape window. He reportedly stole about $9,000 worth of jewelry and other valuable items before making a quick escape on foot to an unknown location.

On the morning of Wednesday, October 4th, at around 8 o’clock, an individual entered an apartment near Lincoln Road and Rogers Avenue by way of a fire escape window.

Upon entering, the perpetrator absconded with around $1,400 worth of possessions before escaping on foot to an undisclosed location.

Fortunately, no one was harmed in this incident.
