Arrest Made in Fishers, Indiana – Early Monday morning, law enforcement officials in Fishers apprehended a man from St. Louis, Missouri on multiple charges.
According to authorities from the Fishers Police Department, a motorist was spotted driving recklessly in a maroon Lincoln MKZ around 1 am. Upon attempting to pull the driver over, the individual fled the scene and instigated a police chase. However, the pursuit was eventually terminated.
An attempt was made by another agency to halt his progress, but it too was unsuccessful and ultimately ended.
According to the authorities, approximately 15 minutes after the pursuit, they received a report about a deserted car that had crashed on I-69 North. The vehicle matched the same description as the one that was previously being chased. Further investigation revealed that the car was reported stolen from St. Louis back in July.
Revon Swinney, a 41-year-old resident of St. Louis, Missouri, has been identified as the suspect in question.
According to authorities, Swinney was apprehended with the help of a drone and K-9. Police discovered an unoccupied gun holster, numerous cell phones, receipts, credit cards under various names, and marijuana during the search.
Subsequently, they stumbled upon a semi-automatic firearm chambered in .40 caliber that lacked a serial number, which was discarded in a dumpster.
Swinney has been accused of the following charges:
-Resisting Law Enforcement
-Auto Theft
-Unlawful Carrying of a Handgun
-Possession of Marijuana
-False Identity
