On Saturday night, a teenager who had been missing since Friday afternoon was discovered at the intersection of Lake Road and Highway 81 in the Wren community. The search for him had been extensive, involving Anderson and Greenville county deputies, Anderson county emergency management, Anderson Technical Rescue, and Powdersville firefighters who scoured the area where he was last seen. Drones and dogs were also utilized in the search efforts. Fortunately, someone called 911 after spotting the teen near a church, and Medshore quickly responded to transport him to a nearby hospital for a medical checkup.
