Governor Kathy Hochul of New York made a bold statement regarding migrants looking to come to the state. In a recent interview, she urged them to “go somewhere else.” Hochul cited the challenges New York is facing with its current population and infrastructure and said that the state is not equipped to handle an influx of migrants. She also emphasized that her priority is to take care of New Yorkers first and foremost.
