The ECSO recently collaborated with other law enforcement agencies to carry out a significant drug bust. The operation resulted in the seizure of multiple illicit items, such as a reported stolen firearm, a handful of other firearms, a substantial amount of cash, and large quantities of cocaine and marijuana.
In the afternoon, law enforcement officials conducted a raid on a residence located on L and Hernandez Streets. In addition to the operation’s success, the police also managed to apprehend a notorious criminal who had been previously sought for assault and property damage. The suspect, identified as Diontress Leverette, attempted to escape but was promptly caught. Currently, Leverette is in custody and may face further criminal charges.
