Montgomery man fatally stabbed to death

Montgomery, Alabama-Following a fatal stabbing on Wednesday afternoon, Montgomery police say a homicide investigation has been launched.

At approximately 1:40 p.m., according to the police, they were called to the 100 block of South Burbank Drive, where the victim had been declared deceased. The victim was identified by the police as Montgomery resident Darrell Cates, 35.

There were no other incident-related details made public. Anybody with information is asked to call the Montgomery Police Department at 334-625-2831, CrimeStoppers at 334-215-7867, or Secret Witness at 334-625-4000, according to the police.
