JAYWICK, England – Authorities in England reported that a 68-year-old woman lost her life to the attacks of two dogs, even though her neighbors attempted to save her life prior to the arrival of emergency personnel.
Esther Martin was the victim’s name, according to Jaywick authorities. According to investigators, the incident took place on February 3 on Hillman Avenue. While they are still investigating the incident’s cause, they did want to thank Martin’s neighbors for their efforts to assist him after the attack.
Acting Chief Inspector Taks Shah told reporters, “It is evident that within moments of this incident, members of the public tried as hard as they could to enter the property and save Esther’s life, sparing little thought for their own safety.”
“I can say with confidence from my conversations with people today, their actions reflect what I know and what I love about this community,” he said.A 39-year-old male was reportedly taken into custody in relation to the incident and later freed on bond, according to the authorities.
