Mocobizscene- On the morning of Friday, January 26th, Harrison police swiftly attended to an incident at the intersection of Frank E. Rogers Boulevard and Sherman Avenue. A report had come in stating that a police car had collided with a parked vehicle. Detective Sergeant Matthew Murphy of the Harrison Police Department promptly initiated an investigation into the matter.
According to the police, a concerned individual reported that the officer, Brian Aparicio, was asleep and unresponsive. In response, the officers conducted field sobriety tests and subsequently arrested Aparicio for driving under the influence (DUI).
Police said that Aparicio was also issued a summons for not complying with a chemical breath test.
