Identity of Woman’s Body Found on Beach Determined

Mocobizscene- Authorities have successfully identified the body of a woman that was discovered on the shores of Manhattan Beach.

The victim has been identified by the Los Angeles County Department of Medical Examiner’s office as Jennifer Hanie, aged 31. A lifeguard near the 2300 block of The Strand made a chilling discovery shortly after 10:10 a.m. on Friday, as reported by the Manhattan Beach Police Department.

According to the authorities, the woman’s boyfriend, identified as Hanie, contacted the police to report that he and his friend began searching for her at approximately 6:40 a.m.

According to a statement from the police, the reporting party mentioned that he had last seen his girlfriend near the water line. In response, the MBPD promptly initiated an investigation and reached out to nearby agencies to inquire about any reports that matched the description of the missing person. Both the Los Angeles County lifeguards and the United States Coast Guard carried out thorough searches of the beach and ocean.

According to the police, officers were able to positively identify the female as the missing person through photographs and confirmation from her next of kin.
