At 8:27 AM PT today, the epicenter of the earthquake struck just off the coast of Palos Verdes. However, even people in H’Wood and Pasadena felt some shaking.

The earthquake came to a sudden halt, just like most earthquakes do. However, for those who were still in a deep slumber after a night of partying, it was quite a rude awakening.

In recent times, Southern California has been hit by a series of intense natural events. One such incident involved massive waves crashing over a seawall in Ventura last week.
