39-year-old Dwayne Barbour passed away from gunshot wounds he received in a shooting incident in mid-December 2023. The Metropolitan Police Department’s Homicide Branch is looking into the event that occurred on Knox Place, Southeast, Washington, DC.
Officers from the Seventh District responded to a complaint of gunfire on December 20, 2023. After seeing Barbour severely hurt, they hurried him to a nearby hospital.
Barbour passed away on December 31, 2023, in spite of medical attention. As of right moment, the case is considered a homicide. To help apprehend and prosecute those responsible, the police are looking for information.
