Mocobizscene- The individuals who lost their lives in the tragic helicopter crash in Miami-Dade have been identified.
According to a report by WSVN, a Fox affiliate in Miami, a helicopter crash occurred in a canal on Wednesday afternoon near Southwest 184th Avenue and 120th Street. The individuals on board were identified as 71-year-old Clement Zanzuri and his 27-year-old daughter, Jordan Ann Zanzuri. Both of them are residents of Miami.
Jordan emerged from the water ahead of the divers who were still searching for her father. They immediately rushed both of them to the hospital, but unfortunately, Clement did not survive.
According to police, Jordan is expected to survive.
The helicopter departed from Fort Myers and was en route to Miami Executive Airport, according to police.
The NTSB and FAA have not confirmed the airport from which the helicopter took off, but they have indicated that it will be included in their investigation.
