Mocobizscene- The New Orleans Police Department has announced that they have made two arrests in connection with a recent investigation into several vehicle thefts in the Seventh Ward.
On Friday, December 22nd, officers were alerted to a suspicious activity in the 2000 block of Annette Street. Upon their arrival, officers observed two individuals in the act of stripping a vehicle, which was reported as stolen.
Enrique Gexel Madrid Ortega, 24, and Hector Manuel Posas Rivera, 34, were apprehended by officers.
During the search of the property, law enforcement officers discovered four stolen vehicles. As a result, the two individuals were arrested and charged with multiple counts of stolen property.
