Mocobizscene-A woman from Beech Grove, Indiana, is facing a murder charge following the fatal shooting of a man during an altercation at an apartment complex earlier this year.
D’Yauni Wilkins-Jones, aged 22, is facing charges of murder and two counts of misdemeanour battery in connection with a shooting incident that occurred in Beech Grove on April 25.
The Beech Grove Police Department swiftly responded to a call regarding a disturbance at an apartment complex in Beech Grove at approximately 9:14 p.m. Witnesses residing in the vicinity informed the officers that they had heard multiple gunshots.
According to an additional witness, the couple walked past French after the shooting, with Wilkins-Jones allegedly stating, “I don’t give a damn; he should’ve never intervened.”
According to court documents from Marion County, a pretrial hearing has been scheduled for February 13, 2024. Furthermore, a jury trial has been set for February 20, 2024.
