Several Jewish Institutions In Central Alabama Under The Target Of Bomb Threats

Mocobizscene- Saturday morning, six of seven Jewish organizations in Central Alabama received explosives threats via email. Synagogues and Jewish organizations in Montgomery, Selma, Auburn, and Dothan were impacted by the threats.

Normal operations resumed once the threatened facilities were vacated by police and canine units and determined to be secure. State representative and executive director of the Jewish Federation of Central Alabama, Phillip Ensler, urged the public not to politicize or speculate about the incident during the investigation’s duration.

Law enforcement is conducting an ongoing investigation to determine the origin of the threats; Action 8 News will provide updates.
