Mocobizscene- D.C. police have recently shared a new video capturing an armed robbery incident in Northwest D.C. The video shows the suspects forcefully entering the premises, compelling employees and customers to raise their hands. At gunpoint, the victims are directed to the storage room. The five individuals involved in the robbery proceeded to steal phones, wallets, and a total of $80 in cash from the store before making their escape.
At least five suspects are being sought after they allegedly stormed into a Verizon store in northwest Washington and robbed employees and customers at gunpoint, authorities report.
The armed robbery took place on Tuesday afternoon at around 2:45 p.m. at the store located in the 5200 block of Wisconsin Avenue, according to the police.
The thieves compelled an employee to disclose the code to the store’s safe, enabling them to pilfer $80.00 in cash as well as an undisclosed quantity of Apple and Samsung Galaxy products.
The customers and employees were also robbed of their wallets, bags, cash, and bank cards by the suspects. The scene was quickly abandoned by all five suspects, who made their getaway in a red SUV. The store’s surveillance cameras have captured images that have been released by investigators.
