Mocobizscene– Shane James Jr., the individual presumed responsible for a destructive series of shootings in central Texas, is now confronted with ten additional charges. These include four counts of capital murder and first-degree felony assault against a public servant and aggravated assault against a mass shooting.
Six individuals, including two police officers, were allegedly killed and three others injured by James in Austin and San Antonio. The alleged shooting rampage began at the Bexar County residence of James’ parents, where he fatally shot both of them, followed by four more fatalities, including an Austin ISD police officer, before continuing to Austin.
James attempted to flee the Travis County Jail subsequent to his apprehension, but corrections officers resisted his efforts. James is presently detained without parole in the Travis County jail; the motivation for his alleged offenses is unknown.
