South Florida is experiencing cooler temperatures, with lows on Wednesday morning falling into the 50s and 60s. The chilly air is predicted to be maintained by a strong northwest breeze, and on Wednesday night, another front will bring even colder weather.
Lows in the 50s are predicted almost everywhere on Thursday morning, with the exception of the Florida Keys. It will be the coldest air of the season if Miami records a low of 57 degrees. Parts of far western Miami-Dade County may see wind chill or apparent temperatures below 50 degrees, according to National Weather Service predictions.
Between the Palmetto Expressway and the Florida Turnpike’s Homestead Extension, there is a 30–40% possibility of wind chill or perceived temperature readings below 50 degrees.
