According to the New York Daily News, a woman has been charged in the fatal stabbing of her boyfriend inside his Brooklyn apartment.
Kiasia Durham, 29, was taken into custody on Monday and is facing charges of manslaughter and criminal possession of a weapon. The arrest comes after the tragic incident that occurred on Sunday, where 47-year-old Jonathan Allen was fatally shot inside his apartment on Melrose Street, near Evergreen Avenue. The New York Police Department (NYPD) provided a statement regarding the arrest.
According to the Daily News, Allen and Durham had a turbulent relationship, leading to multiple police interventions in the past to resolve their arguments. Allen’s neighbors stated that Durham would frequently visit Allen’s apartment to harass him.
