Nopd Investigating Gentilly T-Mobile Store Burglary Involving U-Haul Truck

The New Orleans Police Department is currently investigating a burglary that took place at a Metro by T-Mobile store in Gentilly. This incident is the most recent addition to the ongoing cases being pursued by the Wheel of Justice.

The crime took place in the early hours of Saturday, November 25, at a business situated in the 3200 block of Gentilly Boulevard, as indicated by the police. Security camera footage, released by the NOPD, captures a significant portion of the incident.

The video captures the thieves as they back a U-Haul truck up to the store, smash the door glass, and swiftly fill at least one bag with merchandise. The entire process, from shattering the glass to the truck pulling away, takes just about a minute. The police have not disclosed what the burglars took or whether the U-Haul was also stolen. The NOPD informed WGNO News that the investigation is still ongoing.
