One Dead, One Injured In League City Single-Vehicle Incident

LEAGUE CITY, Texas — The League City Police Department reports that an early Sunday morning single-vehicle collision in the 3000 block of E FM 646 resulted in the fatality of a 27-year-old man and the injury of a woman.

The lamentable occurrence transpired at around 1:31 a.m., when the police department was notified of a significant collision. Officers discovered a pickup vehicle that had caused a ditch to collapse upon their arrival. The male occupant, who had been ejected from the vehicle as a result of the collision, was pronounced deceased at the scene of the injuries. For medical treatment, the female occupant was transported to a nearby hospital.
