Woman from Montgomery receives three life sentences for abduction, sexual assault, and theft

A woman from Montgomery has been sentenced to three consecutive life terms in prison for her role in planning the kidnapping and repeated sexual assault of another woman.

According to District Attorney Daryl Bailey, Circuit Judge Jimmy Pool has sentenced Alexandria Hancock to three consecutive life sentences for her role in the kidnapping, rape and robbery of a woman in Montgomery back in 2017.

Bailey expressed his satisfaction that justice was served in the case of Alexandria Hancock, stating that her malicious behavior has irreversibly changed the victim’s life. He commended the dedication and hard work of his team of prosecutors and emphasized his office’s commitment to prosecuting all forms of violent crime. The sentence handed down by Judge Pool serves as a stern warning to all potential offenders that violent crimes in Montgomery County will be met with swift and severe punishment.

According to prosecutors, Hancock had a previous altercation with the victim.

According to records, Hancock’s sentence was increased as a firearm was used during the crime. Before the trial, two out of three co-defendants pleaded guilty and were sentenced to 20 years in prison. The third co-defendant was tried separately, found guilty, and is presently serving three consecutive 99-year life sentences.
