Stolen USPS vehicle in DC recovered by MPD

The Metropolitan Police Department announced that they have successfully recovered a stolen U.S. Postal Service (USPS) vehicle reported missing on Tuesday.

According to officials, the vehicle was stolen near 4th Street and Delafield Place. Officials have stated that the initial report indicated a carjacking, but they now believe it may have simply been a stolen vehicle.

As of 2:30 p.m., police were still investigating the incident.
