West GA police apprehend 2 individuals with firearms, pills, and significant quantities of marijuana

Deputies conducted a home raid in Carroll County, resulting in drug and weapons charges for a man and a woman.

Authorities conducted a search warrant at the residence of Kerry Reid, a 42-year-old individual residing on Clay Court in Villa Rica. Deputies were present during the operation.

As part of their investigation, the authorities confiscated significant quantities of marijuana, ecstasy, Xanax pills, oxycodone pills, firearms, and cash.

At the time, Reid was not present, but authorities arrested Jessica Slocum, 42, for possessing marijuana with the intention to distribute.

Reid, who refused to surrender, was issued arrest warrants by the deputies.

The U.S. Marshals Service Fugitive Task Force apprehended him afterwards.

Upon his arrest, Reid was taken into custody and booked into the Carroll County Jail. He is facing multiple charges including trafficking amphetamine (MDMA/ecstasy), possession with intent to distribute Alprazolam (Xanax), possession with intent to distribute oxycodone, possession with intent to distribute marijuana, and possession of a firearm by a convicted felon.
