Within a span of 12 hours, 11 individuals were shot in different locations throughout New York City

In a span of 12 hours, New York City saw a total of 11 individuals getting shot.

In the early hours of Tuesday morning, a 24-year-old male was shot in the neck near 235 96th Street in East Harlem. The incident occurred at 3:15 a.m., making the victim the latest in a string of violence in the area.

Overnight in Brooklyn, four individuals were shot in less than an hour. A 21-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound in his hand on Crooke Avenue in Flatbush just before 1 a.m. Meanwhile, in Brownsville at around 1:20 a.m., two individuals were also shot.

In a recent incident, a 64-year-old man sustained a gunshot wound in the leg, while a 35-year-old man was shot multiple times. The violence continued when a 43-year-old woman was shot in the leg on Rochester Avenue in Crown Heights, just about 20 minutes later. Fortunately, all four victims were quickly taken to nearby hospitals and are expected to recover from their injuries.

Over the course of Monday from 3 p.m. onwards, the city has experienced approximately ten additional shootings, with six of them specifically occurring in the Bronx.

Gun violence in the Morrisania section left two women injured. A 29-year-old woman sustained a gunshot wound in the thigh while another 28-year-old woman was hit in the right leg and arm. Fortunately, both victims received medical attention and are currently recovering at Lincoln Hospital.

Three individuals in Brooklyn, aged 16, 18, and 26, were shot in front of 1154 Nostrand Avenue just before 4 p.m. Fortunately, all three victims were rushed to Kings County Hospital and are expected to survive their injuries.

As of now, authorities have not made any arrests in the shooting incidents.
