Mocobizscene- About a shooting in Whittier that claimed two lives and seriously injured one, police are looking for a suspect. The Whittier Police Department said on Tuesday that Noe Urias Perez, 33, was the suspect.
Around 1:05 a.m. on Sunday, February 11, police were called to a parking lot outside an auto repair shop near Lambert Road and Painter Street, where a shooting occurred early in the morning.
Three guys were discovered inside a travel trailer at the scene, each with multiple gunshot wounds. While a third victim was taken to the hospital in serious condition, the other two victims were declared dead.
Police stated that it’s probable the victims are linked and may have worked at the car repair company, even if the reason for the shooting is still unknown.Perez, the suspect, ran away from the scene and is still on the loose. Police said he is thought to be dangerous and armed.
He weighs about 180 pounds and is described as a Hispanic man who is 5 feet 10 inches tall. His eyes are brown and he has black hair. Perez was last observed leaving in a red Nissan Xterra SUV bearing the license plate 7NOC727 from California.
