Washington, D.C.-In Northwest, D.C., police detained a man who they believed had abducted another man at gunpoint in December. They were still looking for the other individual they thought might be involved.
On December 26 at around 4:23 a.m., three suspects approached a man in the 500 block of New York Ave., NE. After removing their weapons and demanding the victim’s keys, they gave him the command to get inside their automobile. The victim was driven about by the suspects as they stole items from him.After releasing the victim, the two suspects left the area. Since then, the car has been found by the police.
Winston Timoteo, 25, was detained on Jan. 2 and accused with armed kidnapping, according to a statement released by the Metropolitan Police Department.If you have any information, please text 50411 to the department’s tip line or phone (202) 727-9099 to the police.
