On Monday evening, the Miss Mississippi competition week commenced in Vicksburg with the traditional parade through downtown, which was followed by an autograph party at The Mulberry.
As they made their way down Washington Street, the 39 delegates and their accompanying Miss Mississippi Magnolias waved to the cheering crowd.
As Wednesday night’s first preliminary round approaches, the party shows no signs of slowing down. In fact, there will be a second autograph party taking place at Kirk Chevrolet on Wednesday at 10 a.m. So, the excitement and celebrations will continue to build up until the big event.
