If you were raised in Southern Utah, chances are you visited Larsen’s Frostop quite frequently. My family certainly did. Larsen’s Frostop was, without a doubt, my absolute favorite restaurant while growing up. They served the most delicious burgers, Piccadilly Chips, Glaciers, and they even had those machines where you could get a temporary tattoo. And on top of all that, the food was incredibly affordable too! Unfortunately, Larsen’s Frostop underwent several changes in ownership, went out of business a few times, and is now officially closed down.
However, the heart of Frostop continues to thrive under its new owners, Sip-N Drinks & Treats. I know what you might be thinking: “Another soda shop?” I had the same initial thought, but I decided to give it a chance and step inside. To my surprise, the essence of Frostop is still present, but the interior is now much cleaner and has received a well-deserved makeover. Additionally, Sip-N has made the decision to retain two beloved classics from Frostop – the crinkle cut fries and Glaciers are still available at Sip-N!
Crinkle Cut Fries & Glacier
I must admit, the Crinkle Cut Fry has never been my favorite type of fry. However, I was pleasantly surprised by how well they were done this time. They were perfectly crispy and had just the right amount of seasoning. Moreover, they offer a wide variety of dipping sauces to accompany the fries. Yet, my main concern was the Glacier. Would it live up to my expectations? Would the ice cream taste any different? To my delight, it was absolutely delicious. It brought back memories of the old Glaciers Frostop used to serve.
According to Sip-N owners, there is still confusion among customers regarding the recent change. It seems that some individuals have mistakenly come in and attempted to order burgers, unaware that Sip-N no longer offers them. However, customers can still enjoy a wide variety of other delectable treats available at the establishment.

I’ve been eagerly anticipating this day for years. The news is out, and it’s almost certain that a second In-N-Out Burger is on its way to St. George! The first In-N-Out arrived in Telegraph, Washington back in 2007, and the lines stretched for hours, lasting weeks and even months after the grand opening. Now, after almost 17 years, we are finally getting another In-N-Out location right here in St. George!
I have consistently expressed the need for another location in a different part of town, and I am pleased to see that a new location has been chosen. Although it is not the exact spot I had in mind (Bluff Street in K-Mart Parking Lot), it is even closer to my home!
