Former President Trump criticized Democrats on Monday for how they interpreted his weekend comments. He had warned that there could be a “blood bath” if he were to lose the election in November.
On Truth Social, Trump responded to the uproar surrounding his use of the word “BLOODBATH” by the Fake News Media and their Democrat Partners. He clarified that his intention was to highlight the negative impact of imported goods on the automobile industry, a point that both the media and Joe Biden were well aware of.
“The United Auto Workers, except for their leadership, truly comprehend the essence of my statement,” he emphasized. “Due to President Biden’s push for the Electric Car Mandate, there is a likelihood that no cars will be produced in the USA, unless I am elected as President. In that scenario, the auto manufacturing industry will flourish like never before!”
During a rally in Ohio on Saturday, Trump issued a warning stating that he would take action against China if they were trying to sell cars to the United States.
According to Trump, if he is elected, a 100 percent tariff will be imposed on every car that enters the country. He firmly believes that this action will prevent the sale of these cars. Trump also emphasizes that if he is not elected, there will be severe consequences for the country, with the automotive industry facing major challenges due to the construction of large factories.
“It’s evident that this individual desires a repeat of January 6,” Biden expressed on X, formerly referred to as Twitter. “However, the American people will deliver him another resounding electoral defeat this November.”
Trump’s supporters contended that his words were being misinterpreted and that he was specifically referring to the potential decline of the auto industry if Biden were to be reelected.
The former president’s campaign took advantage of the public’s outrage over the remarks by sending a fundraising email with the attention-grabbing subject line “Bloodbath!”
According to the email, the media and Democrats have been using edited clips to make it seem like Trump was predicting a disastrous outcome for the auto industry if Biden wins the election in November.
